Prestigious endorsement recognises Tacit’s track record in brand experience delivery

London, UK, October 22 2018 – Tacit Knowledge, a Pitney Bowes (NYSE: PBI) company and leading provider of end-to-end commerce solutions for global retailers and brands, today announced that it has been awarded SAP Commerce Value-Added Reseller (VAR) status for SAP Commerce solutions. This means Tacit Knowledge (Tacit) can manage the entire sales engagement process, including the licensing of SAP Commerce solutions and associated services. Tacit will continue to offer enhanced and custom solutions in accordance with customer requirements but can also now offer flexible SAP licensing options.

To achieve VAR status, partners need to meet set criteria, such as commitment to the latest product training and attainment of certifications. Demonstrable SAP Commerce implementation experience is also required. Tacit has an track record of successful project delivery and 24/7 website support, working with a range of house-hold name brands and retailers, including FitFlop, GHD and Wilko. Recognition of this can be seen in Tacit being either shortlisted or winning SAP Commerce Partner of the Year awards every year since 2013.

Founded in San Francisco in 2002, Tacit’s global hub is in London. It has grown to meet its clients’ needs but maintains its Silicon Valley retail technology innovation and start-up culture, and although it still has a presence in its hometown of San Francisco, Tacit also has offices located in New York; Austin, Texas; Guadalajara, Mexico; and Chisinau, Moldova.

James Bullock, GM & SVP, for Tacit Knowledge said, “We’ve partnered with SAP Customer Experience and SAP since 2009 and have built up our knowledge extensively over the past nine years. We’re really proud of our SAP Commerce expertise and that by doing the right thing in the right way, our clients have become our biggest advocates. Acquiring VAR status signifies the investment we’ve made in honing our SAP Commerce consulting business in innovations such as ncommerce, our SAP Commerce Packaged Solution for Brands.”
