Chris Andrasick
CEO and Co-Founder
When did Chris escape from Alcatraz…and more importantly why was he there!
Chris Andrasick has served as the CEO and a founding partner at Tacit Knowledge since its launch in 2002. Chris's responsibilities include strategic planning, marketing, sales, contract negotiation, and serving many Tacit Knowledge clients and partners.
Chris's prior technical experience involved serving in the role of principal architect on Stylehive.com, a web 2.0 social shopping site. His consulting experience at Tacit Knowledge has also included leading the delivery of a web portal for Washington Mutual's Correspondent Lending business, and consulting directly with clients such as Scholastic, 1-800-Flowers, Kodak, Gap, Sephora, and APL.
Prior to founding Tacit Knowledge, Chris spent the majority of four years at Organic, Inc. as the Director of Software Engineering in San Francisco. His background includes a focus on technologies enabling retail, logistics, real estate, and media applications on the web. He has previously spoken on topics such as privacy, analytics, clickstream behavior in web applications, XML use in systems integration, web 2.0 strategies, and best practices in Agile development.
Chris holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Scott Askew
CTO and Co-Founder
Scott Askew is the Chief Technology Officer and a founding partner of Tacit Knowledge. He has been developing enterprise applications since 1992. Prior to Tacit Knowledge, Scott held senior management positions at throughout the financial services industries and most recently at Organic.
Scott has architected and developed solutions including performance tuning and stabilization, architecture review and implementation, and system integrations for a number of companies including Sephora, Kodak, Wells Fargo, Urban Outfitters, Washington Mutual, Western Union, APL, Macy's, The Body Shop, and i4Commerce.
He has development experience on most J2EE platforms including ATG Dynamo, BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, and Jakarta Tomcat. His experience with relational databases includes Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DB2.
Mike Hardy
For the past five years, Michael has served as a senior consultant and finally the CFO of Tacit Knowledge LLC.
Prior to Tacit, Michael spent three years as the Director of Engineering at manageStar, Inc., where he led a 30-person engineering team, and worked directly with clients to implement custom integrations.
His consulting background includes founding and working as the CFO and a consultant at H3C, Inc., a stint as at Cambridge Technology Partners, and now Tacit Knowledge. Michael has been a speaker at O'Reilly Open Source Conventions. He is a practiced network administrator, with a deep understanding of the software, network and hardware interactions that must be managed for successful network applications.
Manish K. Bardolia
Co-Founder
Manish K. Bardolia is a founding partner of Tacit Knowledge. Manish ‘s career has successfully combined experiences and talents ranging from hands on Sr. Software applications developer to lead technology consultant culminating in his position as a senior executive for Tacit Knowledge. In his thirteen years as a technologist, he has designed and built complex software applications, functioned as the program/project lead and guided dozens of engagements. Prior to forming Tacit Knowledge Manish successfully executed assignments for large consulting companies and technology firms, including American Management Systems, Deloitte Consulting and Organic Inc.
Manish’s priorities at Tacit Knowledge have been focused on building a successful software practice that combined a fulfilling & creative work environment with superior execution and technical standards. Manish has played many roles within Tacit Knowledge, most recently serving as the company’s COO, with primary responsibilities focused on overall financial health/growth of the company.
Manish currently sits on the Board of Managers guiding the strategic direction of the business.
